Reminiscing on a wedding day at Langverwagt

Five years later, I still remember my wedding day at Langeverwagt like it was a few months ago. The warm, late January morning that I woke to a lavish three-course breakfast shared with my parents, the perfect start to any girls wedding day. We had spent the night in the guest cottage on the farm and the room was filled with orchids that we’d collected from a farm near by for the table decor, and this only added to the magic. That, and my wedding dress hanging on the wall, are two images that I will never forget.

Langverwagt is such a naturally beautiful venue. The old barn, with it’s thick walls was converted to the reception area and the enchanted garden is a dream for any wedding photographer. We’d searched long and wide for a venue like this and as I was about to give up the wedding venue search, my mother turned up the long winding driveway lined with trees and I knew this was the one.
We were looking for a venue that we felt we could be totally comfortable in and share our special day with our friends and family in a relaxed, farm-style celebration and this was everything we imagined. The farm is family-run and every last details was thought of, I remember even being given a glass of water just before I walked down the isle and a little reminder to ‘take it all in’. I would highly recommend this beautiful farm and it’s lovely hosts to make your wedding day everything you’ve dreamt of.
